Dr. Christopher Coulter

Dr. Coulter manages Precept's Wellness, Care and Disease Management programs, directs the Precept Health Management Center and consults with clients on their medical care management programs.

Previously, Dr. Coulter was with UltraLink, Inc., for 12 years. During that time he served in various capacities, including chief medical officer, chief operations officer, chief executive officer and chairman of the board. He developed and directed health care programs and employee benefit services for Fortune 500 employers.

Dr. Coulter has also served as a medical director with FHP, a Southern California health plan, and as a hospital medical director and a hospital-based internal medicine specialist with the U.S. Public Health Services. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Geriatrics, is a Fellow of the American College of Physician Executives and completed his Certification in Employee Benefits Specialty (CEBS) in 1996, with Fellowship in 2001. He has served as Associate Clinical Professor at the University of Southern California School of Medicine and at the University of California, Irvine, School of Medicine and as a senior physician surveyor for the National Committee on Quality Assurance. He is currently on the editorial boards of Managed Care Medicine and Physician Executive.

Dr. Coulter earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Yale, an M.D. from the University of Virginia School of Medicine and a Masters in Public Health from Johns Hopkins University.
