Jim Arnold

Jim is responsible for Precept's Brokerage Services Department, which partners with small and medium size clients to manage the cost and improve employee appreciation of their employee benefit programs. In addition, Jim manages client relationships with a number of Precept's major clients and provides leadership to the Precept team managing those accounts.
Prior to joining Precept, Jim spent six years with a National Employee Benefits & Insurance firm as regional vice president. In addition to the responsibilities of managing the Newport Beach office, Jim was successful in more then tripling the revenue of the office. In 1980 Jim founded his own firm, J. B. Arnold & Associates, specializing in employee benefits. Jim worked with successful small- and medium-size business owners and senior management with managing their employee benefits. His ability to help clients establish goals and objectives with their benefit plans, and work with management in the attainment of those goals, resulted in J. B. Arnold & Associates becoming a very successful "Boutique" Employee Benefit Firm in Orange County. In 1995 Jim merged J. B. Arnold & Associates with CBIZ Benefits & Insurance Services, a Large National Employee Benefits firm.
Jim has been a speaker at Claremont Graduate University 's Human Resource Program. Jim earned his Bachelor of Science degree from California Polytechnic State University School of Business, Pomona, and earned his CLU and CHFC designations from the American College.
