Wade Olson

Wade is CEO and Founder of Precept. He brings over 20 years of experience to his role, which includes the development and strategic direction of the company's goals and objectives. Wade manages several client accounts, directing Precept in its key task of providing clients with a process that manages both strategic and tactical activities associated with their employee benefit programs. Key deliverable for clients is increased value from their benefit programs and decreased cost, which drives more to the corporate bottom lines. This process has allowed hundreds of companies across the country in a wide range of markets to identify, measure, isolate and professionally manage those factors that have a high correlation to program cost and perceived value.
Prior to founding Precept, Wade spent six years with UNUM Insurance Company. His activities earned national recognition from UNUM for both sales and management responsibilities.
Wade has been retained by several organizations to lecture, author and be a continuing resource for companies interested in increasing the value of their benefit programs. These organizations include Vistage (formerly The Executive Committee), California Employer Advisory Council, Merchants & Manufacturers Association, Employers Research Institute and numerous other industry associations. Wade also lectures at the University of California, Irvine and has been a member of Vistage since 1993 and a resource speaker since 1989.
Wade holds a business degree from Oregon State University.
